AAAWWWWW......Poor 1 and 8. I think 8 was only a bully because 1 tought him to be like that. However, 1 was only trying to protect the rest of them and I think he made the decition of sending 2 out to die under all the stress of hiding from the beasts. I mean, he most likely noticed that 2 and 6 started putting ideas into everyone's heads and got afraid that they'd lead everyone to their doom, so he sent 2 away. Yeah, it was a asshole move, but he did it for th sake of everone else. 8 was just trying to help 1 protect everyone. I mean, come on, their taglines are "To Protect Us..." and "To Gaurd Us...". Give these guys some respect, people! Also, love the picture. The shading is great (which is more than I coud say for the crap I draw. xD I can't shade for my life) and I love how 1 looks like he's trying to comfort 8. <3

A lot of people don't really see that 1 was doing his best to look out for the others, even though he was misguided and waylaid. Sure, he was a dick, but he was a dick with passion and survival at heart. That's what made his sacrifice powerful to me, at least.

8...didn't do much for me, but I don't work with the 9 fandom, so I don't feel too bad about not being able to make something better out of him than we've seen.

I love how the lighting is in this picture, you've really captured their emotions well, it just makes me want to go give them a hug and tell them they're loved, ya know? Though I still dislike 1 and 8(Well, 8's pretty cool, I'm just not exactly fond of him)I still do have respect for them both. and he, though this way was proven to be wrong, was only afraid of the machines and wanted to hide away from them. However, the reason why I dislike him is because he was way too controlling. Instead of forcing everyone to follow his way of "staying safe", he should've allowed others to go after the left behind stitchpunks.

Just my opinion though.

Oh, even 1 and 8 deserve to get a hug from someone every once in a while.

People overlook the fact that 8 made all his weapons and armor himself. And he had a target in 1's room so he could practice throwing that scissor blade. He's the big momma bear of the group and he latched onto 1 as "the guy who knew what to do."

And 1... well you could write an essay about 1, but he felt abandoned and was just doing what he thought was right. Admittedly getting rid of 2 was a jerkass move, I won't try to defend that.

Compositionally, I love the way 1 is posed, he's still all hunched but in a loving way, if that makes any sense. 8 looks so weird when he's sitting down. I know that's just because of how he's built but yeah. The whole thing just makes me go "d'awwwww" in a big way. ;x;
