I feel as though my art is improving... 8D

Look familiar? I used to play Secret of Mana all the time when I was little... even before I learned how to read! :D Imagine trying to play like that!! XD I managed, though I remember one problem I had. I knew that when I went to the stores to buy equipment that I could buy stuff... but I didn't know the difference between buy and sell... so I thought I was getting good deals while losing money and armor. ^^; The sad thing is that I have yet to see the ending due to both laziness and having the game repeatedly erased on me. Our game is so old, if you accedentally bump the system the wrong way, your game is GONE and you FAIL!! I know how it ends, I just have yet to see it.

I thought the Sprite was a boy since that Gnome claimed the Girl as the Sprite's wife and the Sprite looked very pleased XD

Actually, the sprite's gender is never specified in the game, from what I've seen, so it's really up to the player as to whether they would like to think of it as a girl or a guy xD

Oh yeah. :XD: I keep thinking there was one spot in the game where it's gender is meantioned, or some hint to it. ^^;

They might call it 'he' once, I heard... though I don't recall at which point. I remember paying special attention to each conversation that involved it, trying to see if maybe they do specify... but actually I like this flexibility, that means I can draw it whatever gender I feel like xD Or... or maybe it has no gender 8U
